“(...)compised of two black spheres, linked by a steel cable that disappears into the open end of a chromed pipe that extends from the gallery wall. The balls squirm on the gallery floor, frantically pulling against their tethers. Whether they are desperately trying free themselves from confinement or distraught by their inability to return through the pipe, this animated string of beads generates unanticipated empathy, obscuring distinctions between subject and object.
